Cowboys' Scandrick schools young patient at Madden

If one thing was made perfectly clear about cornerback Orlando Scandrick after the Dallas Cowboys made their annual visit to a children's hospital, it's that no opponent is safe when he's playing Madden — not even a young patient.

Check out one tactic he used — as we stress this point — while winning against the young boy as told by teammate and injured linebacker Justin Durant.

Sneaky.

Scandrick, known as one of the most intense players on the Cowboys, wouldn't offer any kind of apology even after some playful ribbing from teammates when interviewed by ESPN.com's Tim MacMahon on Thurday.

"Nothing is going to be given to you, so I don't think I should have gave him anything," Scandrick told ESPN.com. "I made him better if anything.

"I wasn't teaching any lessons, but when you play a competitive game, you've got to expect to be competitive. If they didn't want you to go for two and to kick onside kicks, it wouldn't be on the game."

Whoa.

The Cowboys hope Scandrick takes that kind of intensity with him when Dallas takes on the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

The winner takes first place in the NFC East.

To some, Scandrick brought to life an old Dave Chappelle sketch.
