CBC Sports has selected a list of eight finalists for the title of most influential person in Canadian sports in 2014. Our group features eight personalities who have had a significant impact on the playing fields/courts/ice in our country this year.

First round:

- Masai Ujiri advances past Social media.
- Kaillie Humphries advances past Marie-Philip Poulin

Second round:
- Masai Ujiri advances past Eugenie Bouchard
- Gilmore Junio vs. Kaillie Humphries: Vote Thu., Dec. 11 and Fri., Dec. 12
