Reigning Olympic champs try to become 1st to win Canadian and world championship the following season

Olympic champion Jennifer Jones' Canadian rink won its opening game at the world women's curling championship in Sapporo, Japan with a 9-6 victory over Finland on Saturday.
Jones jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first end and was up 4-1 after three and 5-2 after five.
But the Finns counted three in the sixth to tie the score at 5-5.
Canada went into the tenth ahead 7-6 after the teams traded points in the seventh, eighth and ninth ends.
Jones picked up two more in the tenth to seal the win.
Jones and her team of lead Dawn McEwen, second Jill Officer and third Kaitlyn Lawes are trying to become the first reigning Olympic champions to win Canadian and world championship the following season.
Canada has two games on Sunday against Scotland and Sweden.
