The Flames beat the Sharks again to improve in the standings, and an Oilers rare power-play goal sealed a victory, while Ryan Miller was chased from the net in a Canucks loss.

Flames take a bite out of Sharks
The Calgary Flames continued their dominance over the San Jose Sharks with their fourth victory in the season series.
With their 4-1 win, the Flames jumped the Sharks in the standings to take the second spot in the Pacific division for the time being.
In Calgary's 30th victory of the season, forward Lance Bouma assisted in Mason Raymond's first goal of the game and added his own in the second period for good measure.
It was the 24-year-old's seventh multi-point night on the season.
Yakupov powers past early mishap
Edmonton Oilers forward Nail Yakupov scored a rare power-play goal in the second period to seal a 2-1 victory while visiting the New Jersey Devils.
The 21-year-old came back to net the game-winner after being shaken up by an open ice collision with Devils forward Steve Bernier in the first period.
Jordan Eberle had a big night for the Oilers as well, earning an assist on both of Edmonton's goals. The win ended a three month road drought for the Oilers, who had not won in regulation away from home since Nov. 9.
Former teammates face off
Three former Buffalo Sabres met in a game between the suddenly hot Minnesota Wild and the Vancouver Canucks. Minnesota extended their current winning streak to six games with a 5-3 victory.
Wild forwards Jason Pominville and Thomas Vanek teamed up for a power-play goal against Canucks goalie Ryan Miller in the first period.
It wasn't the best way to reunite with his former teammates, as Miller ended his night early after allowing five goals on 18 shots through the first two periods.
Vancouver forward Nick Bonino also left the game early after blocking a Ryan Suter shot with his foot. The team reported a lower-body injury via Twitter, but he may be out longer than just one game.
Chilly reception can't stop Carter
There doesn't appear to be very many Jeff Carter fans in Columbus anymore. The Los Angeles Kings forward didn't receive a warm welcome from his former hometown crowd.
Despite the disapproval from Blue Jackets fans, the 30-year-old managed a goal and an assist to help lift his team to a 4-3 win.
Carter departed Columbus for Los Angeles in the 2011-12 season, and now has seven goals in 12 career games against his former team.
