How many men does it take to get the cap off the Commonwealth Games baton?

Two. But only just.

The opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games was a little sidetracked when neither the Commonwealth Games Federation President, nor the most decorated Olympian in British history could get the cap off of the Queen's Baton.

Prince Tunku Imran and Sir Chris Hoy both struggled to get the cap off of the baton, which contained the parchment Queen Elizabeth II was supposed to read to declare the competition officially open.

The only thing that could've made it worse would be if the Queen was standing right beside the baton, waiting for it to be opened, with tens of thousands of people watching in Celtic Park, and millions more viewing on television.

She was. And they were.
