The Memorial Cup tournament starts Friday in London, Ont., where the champions of Canada's three major junior hockey leagues, along with the host city's team, will face off for the national title.

The host London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League are making their third consecutive appearance in the Memorial Cup. They're joined by the OHL champion Guelph Storm, the Western Hockey League's Edmonton Oil Kings and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's Val-d'Or Foreurs.

Last year's winners, the Halifax Mooseheads, were eliminated by Val-d'Or in the QMJHL playoffs.
