The Montreal Canadiens are looking for more after getting the best of one of the National Hockey League's top teams over the weekend.
Seeking back-to-back wins for the first time in more than two weeks, the Canadiens try to continue their recent success against the visiting New Jersey Devils on Tuesday (7:30 p.m. ET).
Montreal (26-15-5) concluded 2013 with a 4-5-1 stretch, but it's 3-1-1 this year after beating Central Division-leading Chicago 2-1 in overtime Saturday. Defenceman Andrei Markov gave the Canadiens a 1-0 lead in the second period before adding his second goal 1:28 into OT.

"Every time we play against a team like Chicago that's high in the standings, it's a big challenge," Markov said. "We have to continue the same way. That's our game. We have to try to play that game every night.
"If you play hard every game like tonight, success will be on your side."
Max Pacioretty assisted on Markov's winning goal, giving him eight points over the last six games. Montreal outshot the Blackhawks 38-20, holding them to their second-lowest total of the season.
"It took a good effort from everyone to play well with and without the puck," coach Michel Therrien told the team's official website. "We're focusing on the details and the players have been receptive. Even the players on the bench, when their teammates are in the right position and making the right plays, we feel their enthusiasm. You can feel the chemistry in here."
The Canadiens will now try to win two in a row for the first time since Dec. 21 and 28. Montreal has taken four of five from New Jersey (19-18-10), including both matchups this season.
The Devils are looking to extend their points streak to a season-high five as they're 2-0-2 in the last four. New Jersey, which has managed seven goals but allowed six during that stretch, opened a four-game road trip with a 3-2 shootout loss to Toronto on Sunday.
Ryane Clowe scored his first goal in 15 games this season and added an assist, and Cory Schneider made 23 saves.
"The shootout doesn't take away from the effort that we gave," coach Peter DeBoer said. "I thought we gave them everything they could handle. They're probably pretty fortunate they got two points and we feel a little bit robbed, but that's the game and we've got to pick up and move on to Montreal."
The Devils had won eight straight and 12 of 14 at the Bell Centre before losing two in a row there with Martin Brodeur in goal, including a 3-2 defeat Dec. 2. Montreal's Carey Price made 28 saves that night and is 3-1-0 with a 2.22 goals-against average in his last four starts in the series.
Price has gone 14-3-2 with a 2.31 GAA in his past 19 overall.
While Schneider has compiled a 1.17 GAA in going 3-1-1 in his last five, DeBoer could turn to Brodeur for the first time since last Tuesday.
A Montreal native, Brodeur has gone 44-19-1 with five ties against his hometown team while compiling a 1.85 GAA, his lowest mark against any club.
Brodeur has allowed eight goals in his last two games, though, and owns a 2.99 GAA on the road compared to 1.83 at home.
Leading the Canadiens with 33 points, P.K. Subban has gone without one in four straight games. He has one assist in his last six meetings against the Devils.
Markov has also been held in check by New Jersey, recording six points in his last 21 matchups.
