Pavel Bure's career was grounded early because of his high-flying style, according to Don Cherry.
The Coach's Corner commentator lauded the Russian Rocket's career during his segment on Hockey Night in Canada Saturday, but said the former Vancouver Canucks forward had to retire at age 32 because "he took chances."
Cherry praised Bure's playing style, but also said it would ultimately become the forward's demise.
