Things are looking up for the Canadiens, the Leafs are still trying to figure out their next move and the Oilers were dealt some tough news on the injury front.

The good times are rolling in Montreal
David Desharnais completed the comeback for the Canadiens by slipping a wrist shot past Flyers' netminder Ray Emery in overtime for a 2-1 triumph at the Bell Centre.
Montreal received 23 saves from Carey Price along the way to its third win in a row. At the other end of the ice, Emery had a much busier night, facing 41 shots.
The Flyers opened the scoring late in the first period, but the numbers showed that the Canadiens might just have it in them to rebound for a win.
When trailing after the first 20 minutes, Montreal has now posted an NHL-best 10 wins.
The Canadiens continue to knock on the door for top spot in the Atlantic Division and narrowed Tampa's lead to just one point with the victory.
Strange mix of optimism and strife for Leafs
Peter Horachek called the Leafs effort lethargic in a 5-4 loss to the Rangers.
This follows the second contest in which David Clarkson sat in the press box as a healthy scratch as well as the coach's decision to reduce Phil Kessel's minutes and demote him to the fourth line against New York.
Kessel, who leads the team with 47 points, logged just over 12 minutes of ice time and didn't attempt his first shot of the game until late in the middle frame.
On the bright side is the play of defenceman Morgan Rielly.
The 20-year-old struck twice for the Leafs to record his first ever multi-goal game and the third goal in his last two outings.
Reilly is gaining some traction as a blue-liner the Leafs can build around.
Injury bug bites Oilers
Edmonton will be without the services of forward Taylor Hall after it was reported on Tuesday that he will miss six weeks with a cracked bone in his ankle.
So the Oilers had no choice but to make do in what amounted to a 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Islanders.
However, Halls injury created an opportunity for Ryan Hamilton who was called up from the AHL on an emergency basis.
The 29-year-old, making his first appearance of the season and the 15th of his career, tallied his first NHL goal to give Edmonton an early 1-0 lead.
Iiro Pakarinen also happened to chip in with his first NHL assist on Hamilton's power-play marker.
Jets on the rise, Senators pick up a win
The Jets padded their lead on the second wild card spot in the Western Conference after grinding out a 2-1 victory over Minnesota.
The loss snapped a six-game winning streak for the Wild and they slipped to seven points behind Winnipeg in the Central Division.
Meanwhile, Milan Michalek scored his 8th goal of the season to lift the Senators to a 2-1 win over the Sabres in Buffalo.
