In 19 seasons with the New Jersey Devils, forward Patrik Elias has had his share of highlight moments.

On Tuesday, the NHL veteran, who just recently recorded his 1,000 point, added another memorable moment to his resumé, scoring with a beautiful no-look redirect between his legs against the Buffalo Sabres.

Elias got his stick on a shot by teammate Marek Zidlicky to send the puck past Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth.

Elias does well against the Sabres: it was in a game against Buffalo on Jan. 6 when he recorded his 1,000 point on an assist to Mike Cammalleri.

To top off his milestone year, the 38-year-old has recorded his 400th career goal with a wrister past Leafs goalie James Reimer during the Devils' 4-1 victory over Toronto on Feb. 6

The Devils honoured Elias for his achievements this season in a pre-game ceremony on Feb. 9 before New Jersey lost 2-1 to the Edmonton Oilers.
