Calgary Flames goalie Karri Ramo left Wednesday night's game against the Detroit Red Wings after colliding with teammate Raphael Diaz.

The play occurred in the second period as Ramo was racing up ice to poke the puck away from streaking Wings forward Darren Helm.

Diaz was trailing on the play and appeared to hit Ramo in the head with his knee.

Ramo needed help leaving the ice and didn't return to the game.

Jonas Hiller replaced Ramo the rest of the way.
