CBC Sports has selected a list of eight finalists for the title of most influential person in Canadian sports in 2014. Our group features eight personalities who have had a significant impact on the playing fields/courts/ice in our country this year.

First round:
- Eugenie Bouchard advances past Anne Merklinger.
- Gilmore Junio advances past P.K. Subban.
- Masai Ujiri advances past Social media.
- Kaillie Humphries advances past Marie-Philip Poulin
(Voting opens at 12:01 a.m. ET and closes at midnight on the days outlined above.)
Second round:
- Eugenie Bouchard vs. Masai Ujiri: Vote Mon., Dec. 8 and Tue., Dec. 9
- Gilmore Junio vs. Kaillie Humphries: Vote Wed., Dec. 10 and Thu., Dec. 11
Voting for the final round is in the week of Dec. 15.
