CBC Sports has selected a list of eight finalists for the title of most influential person in Canadian sports in 2014. Our group features eight personalities who have had a significant impact on the playing fields/courts/ice in our country this year.
Check out our bracket below and take part in the vote.
(To vote, click on the individual candidate to go their page. You will find the voting tool on each of those pages, during the designated voting period as outlined below. Note: It is currently available only for desktop and tablet users.)
First round:
- Eugenie Bouchard vs. Anne Merklinger. Voting on Tuesday and Wednesday.
- P.K. Subban vs. Gilmore Junio. Voting on Tuesday and Wednesday.
- Social Media vs. Masai Ujiri. Voting on Thursday and Friday.
- Kaillie Humphries vs. Marie-Philip Poulin. Voting on Thursday and Friday.
Second-round voting takes place in the week of Dec. 8, and the winners of that round square off in the final. Voting for that round is in the week of Dec. 15.
