Washington forward makes it look easy

This goal by Alex Ovechkin is worth a look.

In the third period of an eventual 4-0 win over the New Jersey Devils on Saturday, the Washington Capitals forward picked up the puck inside his own blueline, eluded defenceman Jon Merrill with a nifty between-his-own-legs deke, and then sent a backhand over the shoulder of the seemingly helpless netminder.

Ovechkin's 15th marker of the season might have also been his most impressive.
