They say hockey players are some of the toughest athletes in sports.
That should also extend to coaches and their assistants.
During the second period of a game between Boston and the Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday, Bruins assistant coach Doug Houda was struck in the head with a puck.
Houda smiled as he walked into the dressing room while holding a towel to his head.
The former NHL player then returned minutes later sporting seven stitches.
