Australia is also out. But they played two very solid games. This third game - their last in Brazil - will be a chance to leave on a high.

Australia: Oliver Boznanic. A sub against the Netherlands, he won a penalty that put Australia up 2-1.

Spain: Sergio Ramos. Like his teammates, this experienced defender has struggled in Brazil. But can he help Spain go home with at least one point?

What to watch for

Tiki taka didn't work out very well for Spain. Will they change up their approach in this last hurrah in Brazil?

Spain has precisely one goal so far. And no points. They want to prove to the world - and themselves - that they haven't completely fallen off the global football stage.

Tim Cahill is out for the Socceroos. Against Spain, Australia will highlight their next generation players in Brazil before going home.
