The Montreal Canadiens will open their Eastern Conference final against the New York Rangers at the Bell Centre on Saturday afternoon on Hockey Night in Canada.
Coverage begins with the Hockey Tonight pre-game show at 12:30 p.m. ET, followed by Game 1 at 1 p.m. ET.
It can all be seen live on CBC Television and CBCSports.ca.
The remainder of the series schedule is expected to be released following the conclusion of the Western Conference semifinal series between Anaheim and Los Angeles on Friday night.
The Canadiens reached the East final with a thrilling 3-1 victory in Game 7 against the Boston Bruins on Wednesday
night.
The Rangers booked their ticket a night earlier with a 2-1 win against Pittsburgh in Game 7.
Montreal won two of its three meetings with the Rangers in the regular season, including one in overtime.
The Original Six franchises last met in the playoffs in 1996, a first-round series won by New York. The Canadiens and Rangers met in the Stanley Cup final in 1979, won by Montreal.
The NHL said that the Western Conference final will begin Sunday at 3 p.m. ET. Chicago will either travel to Anaheim or host Los Angeles, depending on which team wins Game 7 on Friday night.
The Blackhawks beat Los Angeles in last year's Western final en route to winning the Stanley Cup.
