Canada voted and four communities are left in the running for the 2014 edition of Kraft Hockeyville.

Now it's up to you to decide the top two.

Hockey Night In Canada host Ron MacLean announced the four finalists live during Saturday night's broadcast, with this year's edition of the annual contest taking on an East vs. West theme.

Two communities from Western Canada and two communities from Eastern Canada survived the top 16 and are still in the running for $100,000 in arena upgrades, a visit from CBC, and the chance to host a preseason NHL game are:

Western Canada

  • Shaw Centre - Salmon Arm, B.C.
  • Medican Multi-plex - Sylvan Lake, Alta.

Eastern Canada

  • Credit Union Centre - Kingston, N.S.
  • Bedeque & Area Recreation Centre - Central Bedeque, P.E.I.

The four communities announced on Saturday are guaranteed at least $50,000 for arena upgrades.

The 12 that did not make the cut in the first round of voting won't go away empty-handed; they all get $25,000 for arena upgrades.

The communities that survive this second round of voting, which opened tonight and ends on Monday at 11:59 p.m. ET, will whittle the field down to the final two entries, one from the east and one from the west.

Those two remaining communities are guaranteed $100,000, and will continue to be in the running for the overall crown, which will net the winner a visit from CBC, a preseason NHL game and the honour of being crowned Kraft Hockeyville.

Voting is simple, just go online to KraftHockeyville.ca, which is available on your computer and mobile devices.
