After Hours: Henrik Sedin becoming a 'complete' player

Written By Unknown on Minggu, 06 Oktober 2013 | 21.22

The Sedin twins are still in Vancouver, but it's a different era and a new system.

When John Tortorella took over behind the Canucks' bench this off-season, he began to preach a shot-blocking mentality with emphasis on penalty killing.

Now, Henrik Sedin — predominantly used in an offensive capacity under former coach Alain Vigneault's system — is getting more of a shot than he ever did to help stop opposing teams' power plays (or what Sedin calls being 'a complete' player).

Sedin joined Scott Oake and Kelly Hrudey on After Hours on Hockey Night in Canada Saturday night to talk about his expanded role in Vancouver among other things.
