The Chicago Blackhawks announced Monday they've agreed to a six-year contract extension with Stanley Cup-winning goaltender Corey Crawford.

Financial terms weren't immediately disclosed for the deal, which keeps Crawford under club control through the 2019-20 NHL season.

Crawford, 28, posted a 1.84 goals-against average and .932 save percentage in 23 playoff games this year to help Chicago to the Stanley Cup title.

In the regular season, the Montreal native went 19-5-5 with a 1.94 GAA and .926 save percentage as he and Ray Emery earned the William M. Jennings Trophy as the goalie tandem with the league's fewest goals allowed.

A second-round pick of Chicago's in the 2003 NHL draft, Crawford is one of the candidates to play in net for Team Canada at next year's Sochi Olympics.
