The Lightning sniper has a nose for the net and he certainly showed it again against the Toronto Maple Leafs Wednesday night in Tampa, Fla.
Training 1-0 in the second period, Stamkos tied the game after breaking in from the right side. As the 23-year-old was going to down to the ice after getting hooked by Leafs defenceman Mark Fraser, Stamkos fired a backhand shot over goalie James Reimer.
