After an emotional pre-game tribute to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings, long-time Bruins anthem singer Rene Rancourt began to belt out the Star Spangled Banner.
But within the first few lines, Rancourt gave way to the highly charged TD Garden crowd, which took the singers' lead and sang the rest of the anthem.
