For the second straight year at the World Figure Skating Championships, we're helping you score the singles events for yourself at home or in the stands in London, Ont.

For the second straight year at the World Figure Skating Championships, we're helping you score the singles events for yourself at home or in the stands in London, Ont.

This is an updated version of our fun and interactive game that I call "Judge for Yourself." You get the chance to be the judging and technical panel from the comfort of your own home!

Like last year, we decided on giving you just the base-level scores for the elements as a starting point. There are obviously many more subtleties than I have included here, but hopefully you'll get an idea of what it's like to score these programs. Thanks to coaches Mazin Thomas and David Long for their invaluable help!

View and print the instructions and scoresheet here (scoresheet-judge-for-yourself-2013.pdf) and familiarize yourself with the scoring.

Now get ready to judge! During the men's and ladies' events at the worlds in London, Ont., send your score to me via Twitter @skatingpj while we're waiting for the marks and let's see just how close you get to the actual numbers.
