This Saturday, Canadian hockey fans can finally get back to the routine they know and love.

It's one that has been around for generations with Hockey Night in Canada at the centre of it all. That's why the 60th season of the long-running show will be magical.

There are some exciting changes that hockey fans can expect when they gather around their TV screens, laptops, tablets and smart phones on Jan. 19.

They will have an opportunity to connect and share the game day experience using the Hockey Night in Canada: 2nd Screen. The 2nd Screen will bring them the best content from the social media world, keep them up to date on what's happening around the NHL, and test their hockey knowledge.

A new rendition of 'Hockey Tonight', as performed by Colin MacDonald of The Trews, will get the show going on Saturday. Fans will also notice some changes to the broadcast team, but a lot of familiar faces will make their return too. Scotiabank Hockey Tonight will feature host Ron MacLean along with hockey insiders and analysts Glenn Healy, P.J. Stock, Kevin Weekes, Elliotte Friedman and Andi Petrillo.

The changes continue with the in-game broadcast crew, including the duo of Jim Hughson and Craig Simpson calling the Prime East games. For the Prime West games, Rick Ball will call the play-by-play alongside analyst Kelly Hrudey. The regional breakdown will see Bob Cole (play-by-play) and Garry Galley (analysis), and Dean Brown (play-by-play) and either Greg Millen or Galley (analysis) in the East while West games feature Mark Lee (play-by-play) and Millen (analysis).

Stick around for After Hours which will tip off the night with more fan involvement than ever through social media.

Fans will get the thorough rinkside coverage they're used to, with reporting from David Amber on the Prime East crew and Scott Oake leading the Prime West games. The regional coverage will be handled by a group of reporters including Cassie Campbell-Pascall, Mitch Peacock, and Bruce Rainnie. On CBCSports.ca, veteran hockey writer Tim Wharnsby will keep fans up to date on the latest NHL news and views.

The show isn't complete without Coach's Corner featuring the always entertaining Don Cherry alongside MacLean.

But wait - there's more. Fans will get to hear even more of Cherry's views as he'll appear again at the end of the first period of the Prime West games. That means one extra look at the outfit Cherry has decided to sport that night.

Hockey Night in Canada Punjabi is back as well. Host and and play-by-play commentator Harnarayan Singh along with analysts Bhola Chauhan and Inderpreet Cumo will provide coverage of the national double-header on Saturday nights.

With this all-star team all set to go this weekend, Hockey Night in Canada invites fans to get involved and join the conversation all season long on Twitter (#HockeyNight), Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.
